RISE 2013: Staying the Course – Being True to Your Dream in Stressful Times

05/17/2013 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

All entrepreneurs start with a dream and passion to make a difference. As you move in the direction of your dream, you encounter obstacles and setbacks. And your response to those obstacles determines your future. The people who succeed stay true to their dream and to themselves. Others become disenchanted and allow roadblocks to derail their dream. In this highly experiential workshop as part of the 2013 RISE Conference, you will clarify your purpose and learn to implement proven strategies for staying true to yourself in the face of setbacks. Learn how to tap into your passion, gain the fuel you need to renew your confidence and generate the power to act on your dreams. Be a leader who makes a difference by turning your dream into reality!

Speaker Dr. Kareen Strickler, PhD, has dedicated her life to empowering people to live a meaningful life by clarifying their purpose and developing the skills, talents and abilities to be powerful, compassionate leaders. As an international executive coach, speaker and facilitator, she creates a safe space for people to discover their strengths and face their challenges with confidence and courage. This session will be co-hosted by Julia Strickler, ND, who combines her experience as a naturopathic doctor with her international work in public health to support people working towards optimal health. Her commitment to health, transformation, and education reflects her desire to help people understand their own highest good.
