Qigong: Self-Care for Stress Reduction

Join practitioner Anniina Gregg and learn about the benefits of QiGong. Qi Gong (pronounced chee gung) is an ancient Chinese healthcare practice that combines the body, breath and mind to increase inner strength and vitality. “Qi” means life force or energy, and “gong” means to gather, cultivate or a skill that is cultivated with consistent practice. It is a gentle practice that benefits many body systems and is safe for all ages. It will promote healing, increase energy, and improve mental focus and inner balance.
In this one hour class, you will learn the different Qi Gong movements that help reduce stress, increase vitality and build stamina. You will also learn about some basic theory and philosophy behind the practice.
Those interested should bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Free to attend.
Anniina Gregg is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and a certified herbalist and Oriental Medicine practitioner (NCCAOM). She specializes in healthy aging, digestive and fertility support, and restorative and rejuvenating therapies for stress and fatigue.
