Compelling evidence is now coming to light about manufacturers who had discontinued the use of the toxic hormone-disrupting chemical bisphenol A (BPA). They may have simply switched to an equally toxic analogue in the same bisphenol chemical class AKA bisphenol S (BPS), in order to evade regulatory oversight and trick consumers with their misleading “BPA-FREE!” labels.
An article published in June, 2012 in Green Med Info.com entitled “Consumer Alert: BPA-Free Goods Still Contain Toxic Bisphenol”, exposes the truth about manufacturers profound lack of integrity and their own selfish monetary interest over the health of consumers.
In a 2013 updated article, resources from the Inter Jof Eviron Res Public Health and Environ Sci Techol. state:
BPA is actually not only within the same range of toxicity of BPA, but is slower to degrade, and therefore will be more likely to remain a persistent toxin and environmental pollutant. It has already been found to be present in the urine of 81% of those tested from the United States and seven Asian countries.
