In any case, there’s a great need for a mobile and delicious snack that’ll keep you going strong wherever you are.
Introducing EPIC Bars! EPIC Bars burst onto the natural food scene last year and they are here to stay, folks! Mega-athletes and native Austinites Taylor Collins and Katie Forrest have created an animal-based protein bar that consists of only environmentally-responsible and energy-rich ingredients. There are three amazing flavors to choose from including Turkey with almond and cranberry, Beef with habanero and cherry and Bison with uncured bacon and cranberry (a Peoples favorite!).
All of the animals they source are vegetarian fed, humanely treated, hormone-free and antibiotic-free. The beef and bison used are both 100% grass-fed and organic, which can contain 5x higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids than that of grain fed animals. They also contain up to 4x the levels of Vitamin E, 3x the levels of Vitamin A and 4x the levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which may boost metabolism.
