Did you know that 80% of all learning takes place visually in the first 12 years? The demands of modern life create great strain on our visual system, and our children are not exempt. Over 65% of school age children wear glasses and the numbers are increasing. Playing indoors on computers, video games, iPhones and iPads escalate the problem.
Join Melissa and Jennifer to learn how to nurture and protect your children’s eyesight. Through simple, fun and effective vision games and practices, your children can improve and protect their vision. Learn how to keep your kids from wearing glasses or contacts; or reduce their dependence on corrective lenses. Also learn ways to avoid digital eyestrain, balance the use of their eyes and create healthy vision habits that will carry them through their school years and into adulthood. Melissa Moody and Jennifer Seagle, both certified Natural Vision Improvement Educators, are a mother/daughter team working to improve the health and vision of individuals of all ages. Melissa has developed and taught healthy vision classes for Stanford University’s Health Improvement Program and at 61 she does not need reading or driving glasses, despite nearly going blind in one eye from surgical complications after an auto/pedestrian accident. Jennifer, homeschool mother of three, has reduced her prescription by 60% and her dependency on glasses by 100%.
