Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Do you have medications you would like to throw out but don’t know where to dispose of them? This DEA-sponsored, once-a-year event can take care of your problem, anonymously and free of charge.

Clean out your medicine cabinets of expired or unwanted prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, insulin, needles, etc. and dispose of them safely on Saturday, April 27th at any of four Austin locations. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY OF THESE ITEMS TO ANY PEOPLES LOCATION. WE ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN THIS SERVICE.

This is a one-day free and anonymous service that will safely dispose of your medicines and ensure they don’t get into the wrong hands or pollute our waterways.
