Lotion bars can be used by patients with allergies or other sensitivities to common cream ingredients or simply as a great base for those treating psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, itchy skin and more.
Lotion bars contain only 4 rigorously-tested, clean ingredients for even the most sensitive patients including coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin E and beeswax. Coconut oil is packed with antioxidants and has been proven to treat xerosis (dry, flaky skin). It has also been shown to reduce healing time for wounds due to an increase in fibroblast proliferation and neovascularization and has anti-inflammatory properties. Shea butter, vitamin E and beeswax help nourish the skin while creating a breathable barrier to lock in moisture. The “bar” is also dispensed in an applicator stick, thereby allowing for easy application that won’t melt in your hands.
