What are your shipping/delivery options?

Most orders are shipped using standard, overland 5-day delivery schedules. We use the United States Post Office or United Parcel Service under most circumstances.

Priority or Overnight shipments may be made by special request. Use the Additional Information text block to make your request.

We do not offer International Shipping.

If you need to track your shipment, please refer to your Order Number on your order Receipt. Please call our store or send us e-mail with your request and we will respond with a status report as soon as possible.


Do you charge sales tax?

State sales taxes are applied to all shipments within our home state of Texas. Sales taxes are not applied to shipments for destinations outside of Texas. Sales taxes vary according to the category of item ordered and are calculated at the cash register. State tax is charged in accordance with the law and all tax collected is remitted directly to the state and is not kept by this store. If you have a question about sales tax, please contact the store via e-mail, phone or at your next visit.


What is your Payment Policy?

Payment for orders will be made via your credit card upon packing the order. Sales tax and shipping charges will be added. Your credit card will be charged on the day that your order is shipped. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has been shipped and your credit card charged.


What is your Return Policy?

Full refunds are provided for unopened products returned to the store in person or via a return shipment no later than 30 days from the date of purchase. A copy of your receipt is required with the product for a full refund. Refunds are not accepted on items returned more than 30 days from the date of purchase.

No Refunds will no provided for opened products. We reserve the right to deny a refund.


What is your Privacy Policy?

We respect and value your privacy. You may visit our web site at any time and your identifying personal information will be used only to support the relationship between you and our store. In this regard, we guarantee that we will not sell or provide your personal information, either in whole or in part, to anyone for any reason, unless required to do so by order of law. What is Security Information?

We endeavor to provide you with full protection surrounding any personal information such as your name and contact information, including your mailing address, contact telephone number/s, and other pertinent identifying information you may provide to us in order to serve your needs. In addition, we use the latest and most up-to-date security software to encrypt your payment information, including your personal and credit card data. What is your Credit Card Processing Policy 

We work to protect the security of your information so that no part of your Credit Card can be read during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypting software. Credit Card payments are processed only when we have completed your order according to your instructions and have notified you that the order has been processed and your Credit Card has been charged. If you have any questions about the charges on your Credit Card, please contact us via e-mail or telephone and provide us with your name and your Order Number




What is an integrative pharmacy?

Our integrative approach brings together traditional prescription medicine, compounded medicine, natural remedies, health consultations, nutritional supplements and healthful food offerings, all with a focus on educating customers and providing high quality products that ensure the best health solutions personalized to the individual.


What process does Peoples go through to identify new products to carry in the stores? 

We have a stringent review process for all products offered in our store – from supplements to toiletries to foods.  We scour the market looking for high quality products that our customers would enjoy.  Once a potential product is identified, our New Product Committee, a discerning group of individuals, carefully scrutinizes ingredients and efficacy to determine whether a product meets our strict standards.


Does Peoples take my insurance?

We accept most insurance—including Blue Cross, Aetna, Caremark and others. [Occasionally, compounded medicine will not be reimbursed by insurance companies, but we do our best to make sure our customers are covered. ]


What are generic drugs? Does Peoples carry generics?

Yes. The generic version of a drug is developed with the same active ingredients as their brand-name counterparts, with comparable dosage, strength, intended use and side effects.  The FDA requires that generic drugs be as safe and effective as brand-name drugs.  We provide our customers with the option of buying generic drugs when available.  In most cases, generics are less expensive than their branded counterparts.


Does Peoples fill regularly prescribed prescriptions? How do I get my prescription filled? 

Yes, we fill prescriptions that your doctor gives you for medicine.  At Peoples, we strive to provide high quality customer service and counseling with each prescription.  We want our customers to be educated on the proper use of any drug, and the potential side effects.  With this education, people are empowered to take a proactive role, making their own decisions about their healthcare.  You can bring a written prescription into any of our stores, [ask your doctor to call your prescription in to us for you, or enter your prescription information into our website].


Is compounding right for me?

We frequently work with doctors to customize a medication for their patients, our customers.  By personalizing medicine, we can develop a treatment that is specific to your needs, not the masses.  Allergic to gluten or preservatives?  Have a hard time getting your children or pets to take medicine?  We have highly trained staff working in compounding labs in each of our stores, ready to design a medication that works best for your needs.



I am gluten sensitive. Is there flour in your delis?
In short, we are not a gluten-free facility, however there is no loose flour at any of our facilities. The only flour at Peoples is already baked or in the form of cookie dough.  We always strive to cater to our gluten-free clients and have processes in place to prevent cross-contamination. Though, since we are not a gluten-free facility we cannot legally claim that any product you purchase will be absolutely gluten-free.
How do you prevent gluten cross-contamination?

We take several measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination. The first is to keep all loose flour out of our environment. In addition, each Peoples Deli has separate utensils and prep surfaces for gluten-free items. Examples of these dedicated, gluten-free production items are: gluten-free toaster, cutting boards, knives, baking sheets, etc. We also take great care in washing and sterilizing any surfaces that may have come into contact with foods containing gluten. Lastly, we train our staff on what it means to be gluten-free and how to cater to the gluten-free community.  Even with all these measures and more, we are still not a dedicated gluten-free facility, so please inform our staff of your dietary needs and we will do our best to serve you.

First, we keep all loose, gluten-containing flour out of our environment so that it will not settle onto a surface or product that is free of gluten. Second, each Peoples Deli has separate utensils and prep surfaces for gluten-free items. Third, we take great care in washing and sterilizing any surfaces that may have come in contact with foods containing gluten. Finally, we train our staff on the importance of maintaining gluten-free products for our customers. While we strive to provide our customers with truly gluten-free products, we are not strictly a gluten-free facility.  If you have any special dietary needs, or would like to know more about our gluten-free products, please contact us or talk to one of our staff members in our stores.
