Well, May is the perfect month to do so and see the difference it can make in your overall wellness! This month only, Peoples will be offering a Heart Healthy Challenge featuring New Chapter’s Wholemega fish oils. Challenge participants will receive 25% off any size Wholemega product and FREE cholesterol tests before and after a completed month of Wholemega. To show you’ve got nothing to lose, New Chapter is even offering a money-back guarantee (with a copy of purchase receipt and CholesTech results) if your triglycerides (TGL) and HDL’s haven’t shown improvement!

In a 2012 national campaign, New Chapter performed a similar survey in which healthy participants with normal TGL levels took one serving of Wholemega per day for two weeks. At the end of the 14-day period, they observed an 8.5% decrease in TGL levels and an increase in HDL (the component of cholesterol you want to be 40 mg/dL or higher).

Wholemega comes from wild Alaskan salmon, extracted using an extra-virgin process similar to that used in olive oil in order to preserve beneficial compounds found in whole fish. Among those compounds are Omega-3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, as well as vitamin D and astaxanthin. It is sourced from protected sustainable fisheries – no GMOs or farmed salmon.

Astaxanthin is a free-radical scavenger found to be 65 times stronger than Vitamin C and 54 times stronger than beta carotene! Omega-3 has been found beneficial for brain development, heart health, healthy cholesterol, cognition and mood. Omega-7 can help to regulate fat and blood sugar metabolism as well as improve the function of insulin producing beta cells of the pancreas. It also promotes healthy skin. Omega-9 can support healthy cholesterol, cognition and mood.

One week of Wholemega at the recommended daily serving (1 capsule, twice daily) was equal to consuming 3 servings of wild Alaskan salmon. Best absorption is found when taking the softgels in two divided doses before the two largest meals of the day.

New Chapter also sells Wholemega blended with specific herbal combinations for joint health (Wholemega Flex includes rosehips, turmeric and ginger), for brain health (Wholemega Focus includes lemon balm, sage and holy basil) and for cardiovascular health (Wholemega Cardio includes artichoke, hibiscus and turmeric).
